I LOVE bakeries. Unfortunately. I'd be a lot slimmer if I loved fruit and vege shops more. A friend told me about this one a while ago and I finally visited their Woolloongabba store. Banneton Bakery on Balaclava Street is a tiny little bakery and coffee shop setup on the side of the road and they have the yummiest selection of breads, pastries and cakes. Their breads are baked in a wood-fired oven and use natural ingredients. Worth a visit if you live in Brisbane.
I do too! Nothing quite nicer than a tasty pastry in the morning with a cup of coffee. How's everything in going where you are? Are the people beginning to heal and get back to normal life yet?
ReplyDeleteAgree! Yes things are getting back to normal now. All businesses are up and running again and houses are being repaired. Feeling for those in New Zealand with the recent earthquake. At least you can predict a flood and prepare.
