This year it's our first Christmas as a married couple and the first Christmas we are hosting for my family (we're so mature!). So I wanted to do something a little bit special. Inspired by this months issue of Country Style and Toast I got a few decorative ideas and I thought I'd share what I've created. Now all we need is some delicious food and a table filled with family and we're set for a special Christmas.
I hope you all have a very Happy Christmas filled with good company, wholesome food and stockings overflowing with yummy sweets *
Again, apologies for the type looking a bit lo-res. Still haven't quite figured out how to keep it sharp.

This all looks so beautiful. You may have just inspired some changes to our Christmas table this year. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Channie!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the feathered baubles - did you make them or did you buy them?
The chair pom poms are wonderful! You should make a "how to" post for those!!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous Chantelle! I can't wait to see the series of images from the Christmas table. Also with the text on the image if you have Illustrator or Indesign program, what I usually do is type the copy in Illustrator, outline it and copy and paste it as Smart Pixel into Photoshop. Seem to work ok and not look too low res. However in saying that yours is ok on my screen so not such a biggy.
ReplyDeleteall so beautiful. love your blog too. i'm your newest follower! :)
ReplyDeleteChanie and Reid,
ReplyDeleteIt was the most fantastic Christmas Eve that I have experienced in my 57 years of life. It was the most fantastic setting, your appartment is absolutely magical. I so loved you table that Kai built and the great old chairs. Your home already is so very full of character. It so reminds me of your Wedding Day.
I so love you and Reid. Thank you for all your efforts, exellent dinner, prawns, ham, baked vegetable, salads and lot of smiles and laughter with all our family.
Thank you sooooooo veryyyyyy muchhhhhh!!!!!
