We made our move a couple weekends ago into our new space in Teneriffe and it has been tiring to say the least! The day we moved our furniture it poured down with rain and we were pretty worn out by the end of the day. Happy to say though that things are finding a place and it is starting to feel more like home. Teneriffe is a great area to live in with its big old brick buildings, coffee shops and restaurants lining the street and a path along the Brisbane river which I'm loving running along of a morning. I think I will like it here.
Stunning pics as always Chantelle. The decorating is already looking inspiring! Pouring with snow here today : )
ReplyDeleteThanks Cath :) Getting there, slowly. Oh, so jealous!! Must be such a pretty time of year over there. It is getting really hot and humid here now. We have had a storm every day for the past 3 days.
ReplyDeleteWow Reid and Chanie,
ReplyDeleteI sooooo luv your new home. It shall be soooo
beautiful when it is finished. This will be the next challenge of your lives. One step at a time. I so love the ladder. You are really such a wonderful and creative person Chanie. Reid will get to like it when it's completed. Trust me.

Your home looks really well put together for just moving! I always love that aspect of moving when you can rearrange your already existing stuff.

ReplyDeleteThanks Kat, Naomi and Julie-Inspired. It's getting there slowly! The trip to Bangalow was definitely worth it. It's a little gold mine down there with antiques and nice homeware stores.
Chantelle did you make that magazine rack? I love it so much. Please tell me you did because I want it.
ReplyDeleteHi Desi, no I didn't. It's actually an old ladder that I picked up from an antique store and I just hang magazines over the rungs of it.
